Queeny Lime Blotch pairs perfectly with Queeny Red Lime. While the petals of Queeny Lime Blotch mix vibrant lime green and cream, the center matches the warm, brick-red coral of Queeny Red Lime; the two varieties pair incredibly well together.
Her color combinations are surprisingly versatile and work with a wide range of color palettes, making her a staple in my late-summer/fall bouquets.
Zinnas benefit from pinching. Zinnias are also cut-and-come-again, meaning the more you cut them for bouquets, the more stems they will send out.
General recommendations suggest planting them 6” to 9” apart. (I usually give them 4" to 6" of space.)
Plus, the pollinators love them.
Zinnias thrive in the heat of summer and will start to look a bit ratty by the end of September, as fall’s moisture and rain set in. They will die with the first frost.
