Prairie Sun has cheerful, massive daisy-like blooms that span up to five inches. Their petals are golden-orange at the center of the blooms and fade into lemon-yellow tips. The center of the flowers are a cute green.
Rudbeckia reliably reseeds or overwinters well in Seattle. Plus, the pollinators love them. By planting in the late fall, rudbeckia will bloom sooner and have longer and stronger stems. Typically cool hardy seedlings will be healthier and more resilient plants.
