Bracken Rose is a perfect dusky-rose colored ball dahlia. The blooms are a larger ball shape with a lot of densely packed petals. The blooms are typically grow to be 3.5 inches across. Bracken Rose is an extremely popular dahlia that is highly sought after.
What I love about this dahlia: The coloring and the shape of this flower is incredible.
What I don't love about this dahlia: Bracken Rose sometimes can have "bobble head" blooms, meaning the flower head snaps off the stem if handled too roughly. As annoying as this is, this variety produces enough decent blooms for me to tolerate this, plus I have yet to find another pink ball dahlia with this incredible color and shape.
Bloom size: 3.5” to 4”
Height: Medium to tall — about 4’ to 4.5’ tall
Tuber rating: 8/10 - produces a decent amount of tubers that but they tend to have skinnier necks, which affects how they overwinter.
