All That Jazz

All That Jazz has an interesting combination of colors — red, gold, with hints of purple and a green center. The blooms are huge (usually 5” in diameter) and grow on long sturdy stems. Because of the color combinations it is decently versatile in bouquets and ties together a lot of colors. Also, the petals look like they have glitter in them.

All That Jazz blooms a bit later than some other varieties, but it chugs out the flowers once it gets going. It’s a robust plant, and creates very large and reliable tubers. (I would consider giving this dahlia more space than my typical recommendation of 12 inches of space because the plant gets so bushy and the tuber clump gets big.)

My favorite thing about this dahlia: The unique coloring and the hints of purple in the petals.

Height: Medium — about 4’ tall however it’s a very bushy plant and needs support to prevent it from toppling over
