Tulips
Tulips are the first glimmer of hope in the spring that better weather is headed our way after a long winter. Tulips come in a variety of shapes — from the typical egg-shaped blooms to double peony-like blooms to tulips with fringed edges. Tulip season lasts a few precious weeks, but tulips perk up your yard (and mood!) after months of endless rain.

About the Tulip Bulbs
I fell in love with specialty tulips two years ago when I started my urban flower farm and became obsessed with the huge variety of colors and shapes that tulips come in.
All these tulips are purchased from a wholesaler that sells directly (and only) to flower farmers, which means they are the largest bulbs.
These varieties are also all good choices for bouquet making, which means strong stems and big blooms that do well in a vase or a bouquet.
I selected these varieties to grow next season because of their gorgeous colors, shapes and because none of them are your typical tulips you'd buy at Home Depot.
Each order comes with a grow guide to help you get the best results.
